Thank goodness for Elders quorums!!!! I had my last jewelry class yesterday and thought we wouldn't be able to move much because I am sort of a slacker and hadn't packed much. . . I got done with my class at 1:30 and ran home and began grabbing things out of my bedroom that could be taken over to the new place since I don't like boys in my bedroom. . .and it is still messy (that's what I am most ashamed about). The Elders came about 3. YAY!!!! I will be forever grateful for their help, big strong guys who carried my piano around back and got it through the house and even put it where I asked them. . .and Sky was kind enough to insist on "centering" it under the shelf on the wall (that was what I wanted but hadn't said). Apparently the legs of my piano also come off. . .who knew. . .obviously my mom and dad. . .super duper knowledgeable about moving pianos. I owe these boys (and probably my family) brownies. It would have taken my family HOURS to move what was moved yesterday.
I forgot to mention that I am so very thankful that the rain downpour was in the morning and it didn't really rain at all while we were moving.
I still have lots to do and move. . .I think my first priority will be getting boxes and furniture in the rooms where they belong. I wish I had asked for the 4 wheel cart to stay so that I wouldn't have to pick up and carry everything. I will probably ask my parents for it tonight when I go home for dinner.
I didn't do as much as my dad did and yet I hurt pretty bad and so I KNOW my dad probably hurts worse than I do.
This dream is coming true. . .it still seems unreal that I am moving and won't have roommates. It is becoming more and more concrete every time I go over to my new place. I get so excited!
