The Dress Saga. . .the end?

Ok, so amid the end of school, I went dress shopping for our ward Christmas Dance (which is an optional formal event) and fell in love with a dress. The store owner/manager said they could order one in my size, which ROCKED. It was beautiful, and I wanted it SO bad since the only other formal dress I have ever had was a choir formal. I was a beautiful vintage iradescent green with gold embroidery and beading. B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L!!!!! They said that they would order it in (in my size) so I paid for it upfront with the stipulation that if it didn't fit I would get my month's rent worth of money back. I was called Thursday night and told that it was in, but that they didn't have it in a 20 so they ordered it in an 18 (which is the size that I had tried on in the store). GAH! Needless to say I was ticked. They should have checked before I even ordered and paid for it. It didn't fit. Blarg. I do have to say that it was a misses 18 and not a women's (thank goodness).

Last night right before bed I was thinking of what I am going to do for a formal. Then what my mom said popped into mind. I have a choir formal that we could remake. I have been complimented on it and the color is good. I am going to get some sheer black and make it preety. Yes, Preety. I will get some beads and remake that suckah beautifully. It will be great.I have a few ideas, but I don't want to spoil it and I don't want the other roomies to know that it was one of my choir dresses. It is just a dress that I didn't remember that I had that I added stuff to. Make it do or do with out! (I'm hoping that my mom is right and that she still has the dress hanging in the closet!)

In other news, all of my finals are done. All I have left is an assignment due thursday and to finish my internship (over the break).

woo!! k was bugging me last night about what you're going to do. I think that she thinks you're still heartbroken over the whole thing... I was like "probably she's just not really thinking about it"
