Yes, that is right a hedgehog they are adorable little guys who usually bond well with their caretaker when young. They come in different sizes and there are USDA approved breeders here. YAY! Something that I might be able to have in the apartment. They can be litter box trained too. w00t! They aren't smelly little guys because they aren't rodents. So depending on everything and if I feel right about getting one I just might.
I have always thought they were adorably cute and would be fun to have. I have done some research and found lots of credible information, not to mention that there is an international hedgehog association. I would like a female. . .
Anybody got suggestions for names?

I know this is probably not shocking, considering that I basically want a ZOO, but I have always wanted a hedgie, too! I want a female and will name her Sam the American Igle. (Igle is PRONOUNCED "EAGLE" is hedgehog in German)
One of the places I get glider supplies (Exotic Nutrition) sells stuff for Hedgehogs. They are supposedly hypoallergenic, pretty clean, like running in Wodent Wheels... just cute little things!
