Kip didn't tag anyone, and I really want to do this, so "tag, I'm it!"
Ten things that make me happy.
1.Chacos. . . What other sandal can you: Adjust all of the straps so your feet are super comfy? Easily replace the sole? Wear spring/summer/fall and know that next year you will have the same happy pair of sandals to wear minus some rubber wear? Throw in the washer and have clean sandals? Chacos=investment (longterm) Worth every penny!!!!
2.BBQ Hamburgers and Roomies (together). Jill grills the best burgers ever. I finally feel like those of us who hangout together actually have things in common, its great.
3. 48oz of water in my nalgene bottle. . .to make it the best, freeze the bottom 1/3 for cold water all day long. So worth it and yes drinking water makes me happy.
4. Confidence from my boss that I can do things I have never done. For example I will be recording an oral interview today. I'm super excited! My job in general, it makes me happy.
5. No homework over the weekends. . .FREEDOM. Need I say more?
6. Sunshine (and sometimes sunburns [if I have enjoyed myself]). . .and soaking it in.
7. My family. . .no matter how annoyed I get with them. Gramp's 83 birthday was Sunday and it was so cute to watch him. My parents bought him one of those clocks that don't need setting. . .he sat there forever just staring at it. Mom and dad were hillarious in their antics of setting the clock. Family dinner on Sundays also=happiness.
8. Random acts of kindness from people when I am down.
9. My car. I have had beetle envy, and convertible envy and everything in between. My car makes me happy, why? It is almost paid for, and it has been good to me, and I will probably drive it into the ground.
10. The Gospel of Jesus Christ. . .and everything it includes!
(the last part of the title reminds me of Sanitary pads. . .you know. . .super longs?)
Anyway. I was also going to post about what has been going on in my life. After graduation. . .Still working the same job as before. . .but my gallbladder seems to think that it is time to quit. . .Hopefully after Thursday I can sing "Yes, I have no gallbladder, no gallbladder in my body today!!" Those horrible stomach pains? Gallbladder. . .oh, so fun. . .The pains have continued, but they are not as bad as the very first time. Lovely. It has taken a month to finally sort things out with what has been going on with my body. I had an ultra sound, an Hida scan, and saw a surgeon. I am scheduled to have surgery this Thursday, but I am worried that the insurance will turn me down because it has to be approved, and I am still in the probationary stage until september. . .Pray that the insurance accepts the reasons.
The good thing about it is I can work from home during the recovery time. . .
